Thibaud Elzière and Robin Michel, founders of Iconic House, the first independent collection of private homes, are delighted to announce the opening of their 3rd address. Les Bords du Lac, the 1st private hotel inspired by surf houses, will open its doors at the beginning of July 2022.

Discover Les Bords du Lac, a magnificent neo-Basque building with dark red half-timbering and opulent architecture, typical of the Landes region, transformed into a chic and welcoming residence by interior designer Dorothée Delaye. The property is managed by Iconic House, offering 5-star hotel service with top-of-the-range amenities. It’s just a five-minute walk from the ocean and its renowned surf beaches.

Architect Louis Lagrange designed several neoclassical Hispanic and Art Deco-inspired villas around the lake, creating a unique ambience. The 380 m² residence features six en-suite bedrooms, a spacious kitchen, a living room with a custom-made fireplace, a cinema room, a children’s area, a wine cellar and a heated swimming pool overlooking the lake.

Dorothée Delaye, a graduate of the Ecole Boulle, brings her expertise in interior design and architecture to the table, using Ressource’s pastel color palette, sometimes enhanced by strong-toned lacquers. Her work creates a sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere, inspired by the soul of the Landes region.
